“The new drone regulations are designed to align with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and build on the new Drone and Model Aircraft Registration Scheme in the UK. The main reason to do this is so that Europe as a whole are operating under the same standard rather than having different regulations in each country.
The new regulations and classifications will be based around three basic concepts; Type of operation being conducted; Level of risk involved and the Level of performance/capabilities required.
I recommend before choosing the A2 CofC that you read through our handy Drone Regulation guide for a complete overview on the changes coming.”
